ABOUT

The Florida Knights Basketball Club is a 501(c)(3) non profit organization located in beautiful South Florida. Our organization was established in the year 2014 with the objective of giving all kids the opportunity to play the game of basketball. We are an organization that believes in working hard both on and off the court. That means getting the grades in school, respecting adults, your peers, and giving your best effort in practice and games.

"Mission Statement: To use the game of basketball as a positive outlet to keep our youth off the streets and to teach valuable life lessons." 

Currently we offer travel basketball for boys looking to play elite competition through out the state of Florida. Each team is evaluated prior to the travel season, which will determine the amount of local and out of town tournaments that will be played each season. This is to ensure we are putting quality teams in every tournament we enter.

If you feel like your son or daughter may need a little more practice before joining a travel basketball team, we encourage you to sign them up for our basketball development program. All members will receive discounted rates for training sessions outside of scheduled team practices. Rather you're an experience player, down to just picking up a basketball for the first time, we have a program for you. Simply look under the "Services" tab for more information.  

We also have volunteer opportunities for high school students and adults looking to be apart of our organization. A mandatory background is required for everyone looking to work with kids and all high school students will receive hours toward  their graduation requirement if selected. Beverly Dickson is responsible for the financial records of the Florida Knights. Responsibilities include collection, disbursement and handling of small cash expenses. 

Quaeneashia Butts has many roles within the organization. She is responsible for organizing fundraisers, parent relations, social media and all administrative duties required to run the Knights. Her managerial experience allows her to handle each task effectively. 

This position is responsible for scheduling practices and games. Basketball Operations must ensure all coaches are abiding by policies set forth within the organization and any third party associations.
